Well, I am up in Canada and my ranch is in a drought, while I continue to do clinics 

in the pouring rain! I can tell  you Canadians are dedicated to Horsemanship and

their horses! It reminds me of the postal delivery fella sayin...."not snow, sleet, rain

or hail shall keep me from delivering the mail.... or something like that!  I am in 

Manitoba spending a couple days with a great friend and retired clinic

host! We were remembering the days of doing 2 colt starting classes and a 

horsemanship class...and there being enough colts to do two clinics with over 20 colts

in those two classes so 80 head of colts in two weeks! ah...those were the days! 

I am putting the final edits on my new book -- can't believe it's actually coming out 

soon! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it! 

This year has been exceptional for the clinics and I've even got my wife back into doing

some of her "girls clinics" -- gives you some extra help when I'm not around! Or if you 

are new to me, she can get you started in the right direction!  As Mark Kohler once quoted 

she's a colorful one!!
